From Tim Toy @ Adobe:
Adobe's User Research is looking for ColdFusion users to participate in a two-hour user study! These studies will take place in our San Francisco office on Tuesday, March 31st. For your time, we'll gladly thank you with $150 in American Express Gift Checks.
We'd like to have you come in and take a look at a couple new things we are doing in Flex. It'd be great if we could get your feedback on some of the new workflows we are working on, find out what you like about them, what you dislike about them, and let us know if you think we are heading down the right path.
If this sounds interesting to you and you can spare the time, please fill out our quick screener here: http://tinyurl.com/cf-study (SurveyMonkey)
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at ttoy@adobe.com
Tonight (Wednesday February 18th), Peter Farrell will be coming to us live via Connect from Minneapolis. For more details, see the meeting description.
This will be our first remote presenter for a long time so I hope that folks will still show up for networking, beer and pizza - as well as our monthly raffle! I'll be interested in hearing your feedback on how the remote presentation works for you since it is hard to get local speakers but relatively easy to get remote speakers.
See you tonight!
We're looking at occasional East Bay meetings in response to demand from our members. We're probably going to try this in March with an informal Fusebox architecture and design workshop in Emeryville.
We've seen a lot more interest in frameworks recently so we'll be featuring presentations on Fusebox, Model-Glue, Mach-II throughout the first half of the year.
If you have suggestions for topics or speakers, please leave comments on this blog entry!
MAX 2008 will be upon us soon and this year it coincides with our regular 3rd Wednesday for BACFUG. Accordingly, we have a special meeting with two presentations by speakers who are in town for MAX!
