Web / Multimedia Interactive Developer

The Interactive Developer will develop, deploy, and support content-driven, media-rich Web sites, Web applications, and multimedia applications.  Ideal candidates will have both an analytical and creative skill-set with experience developing user interfaces, Web applications, and relational databases.  A passion for the user interface and the user experience is essential!

• 3-5+ years experience Web user interface development and implementation with following Web production technologies: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (including cross-browser DOM), AJAX, XML.
• Strong experience with RIA (rich internet applications) development using Flash (with ActionScript 3), Flex, or Silverlight.
• 2-3+ years experience Web application development using ASP.NET (C#) and/or PHP.
• 1-2+ years experience with relational database development with SQL Server or MySQL.
• Strong experience integrating designer assets (e.g. Photoshop files, video assets) into projects as per specification.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, and Fireworks.
• BA / BS Degree in Media Arts, Computer Science or related area.
• Ability to think conceptually
• Excellent communication skills

 Duties and Job Functions

• Analyze customer enhancement requests and provide detailed design and implementation guidelines, alternative approaches, and time/cost development estimates
• Develop, test, and release web pages, stored procedures, style sheets, and other coding structures as detailed by the enhancement request specifications
• Provide assistance to the client implementation teams as necessary
• Participate in team design sessions and code reviews
• Create required reference material and technical documentation as needed. Provide technical training.
• Insure product quality by performing extensive unit and functional testing during all phases of the development cycle
• Maintain structured product releases by following team coding standards and release guidelines
• Perform application-consulting services as required to meet project goals and maintain customer satisfaction 

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Must be an expert in ASP.NET/C#/VB (minimum of 4 years)
• Strong multi-tiered application development framework experience
• Experience programming capabilities of .NET version 3.5 and AJAX
• Expert skills in 2005/2008 T-SQL and stored procedures
• High traffic web site experience with scalable design
• Excellent Web Services, XML and XSLT experience
• Comprehensive experience creating common components, patterns, services, and frameworks
• Excellent problem solving skills and an attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, especially written communications
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from all functional areas.
• Ability to follow structured release processes and team coding standards.
