Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, tonights Join-fu meeting with Jay Pipes has had to be postponed.
Hopefully, these technical difficulties will be resolved by next week.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
After about as much thought and consideration that we normally put into Scotch - close to none :) - we've finally pulled together the plans for 2009.
Due to the financial implications of attending a conference in the current financial climate (conference ticket, travel, hotel, etc), we've decided to bring Scotch to a venue near you.
With that in mind, we should be knocking on your door in the following locations on the following dates:
We're currently looking at having London as all ColdFusion (plenty of Flex events in London already). Edinburgh will focus on ColdFusion and Flex and Dublin will focus on AIR and Flex (any server side technology MUST be ColdFusion).
That's not to say we won't cover X, Y or Z at each location, but this is our focus.
Also, this obviously means we'll have different sessions and different speakers at each location. We'll have a few common speakers and maybe a few common talks, but overall each location will have different material.
We've still to set the cost for attending but it will definitely be more than affordable.
Oh, and we're going to do something special for anyone who attends all three dates.
More info coming soon!!!
Just a quick note to let you all know that Adobe announced the development of an IDE specifically for ColdFusion in the keynote at MAX 08 today.

Ever wondered what Pair Programming is like Ever been interested inhow Test Driven Development really works In this special connectsession, Ben Nadel (http://www.bennadel.com) and Peter Bell(http://www.pbell.com) will be pair programming using a Test DrivenDevelopment process - live from NYC and without a safety net! :->
They\\47llstart with a simple set of requirements for an object and using MX Unitwill use a Test Driven Development approach to come up with a workingdesign. The approach/naming will be strongly influenced by BehaviorDriven Design - one of the most interesting recent developments indeveloper testing.
The session will startwith a five minute introduction to the ideas behind pairing, TDD andBDD and the rest of the time will be a spontaneous pairing session togive a sense of how pairing and TDD really work in practice.
