Recent conversations amongst the esteemed members of this group have brought many interesting facts to light about the hassles we all still endure keeping our code able to work properly in IE6.

Please share your stories of how you need to adjust for this old, and yet still dominant, browser. Even though Flash allows us to do so much without having to worry about browser compatibility, there are still many issues that crop up. Any time we want your SWF to send data to, or through, the browser we have to reckon with this most non-compliant of browsers.

Tell us how you get around any of these issues.

Wondering if anyone has found some good templates for Flash? It's becoming a bit of an industry and certatinly not the right solution for all problems. But I have found some great pre-fab stuff out there.

My fave at the mo: http://www.warmforestflash.com/  (I bought the Sycamore template for a client who loves it.) What is that it's well-designed and engineered. (Speaking as a creative, as always.)

Great structure. Easy to use. Extensible. And, most important, the human touch. A handy tool in the arsenal of the well-informed interactive designer and art director.

    Would you agree? Thoughts?

Send us your links to other such great work...

    Cheers,

We're excited to get started (again) with our online group for Flash and all things multimedia here in LA!

In such a sprawling metropolis, it's great to be able to connect, netwrok, learn and share from our home or office. Hasan and I are planning and scheduling speakers and presentations for the coming months... Any suggestions are welcome.

Our first meeting is this coming Thursday already. We're proud to have Sean Chatman with us exaplining some amazing Flex tips and tech. Infinite undo/redo... among the topics and tricks he's mentioned to me. We'll also be reviewing some of the developments announced at Adobe Max. It's sure to be a fun-filled and illuminating experience for one and all.

Keep your ears on this site for the Connect url... It's all coming together right now...

    See you there!
