We would prefer a developer who has finished his University degree in the past 4 years, and who is willing to relocate to northern Germany (as this would allow us to generate governmental funding).

Mission: To design, implement and maintain a secure webservice data server to serve client applications in  Flash (AIR or Flex3/4). Additionally  to participate in the choice of technologies and tools for this new business process.

The new data server will require secure authenticated access to support online sharing and collaboration on specific data sets. Initially the new data server must have basic integration with our  current websites billing and CRM modules.

Location: Can initially be remote – after 3 month  relocate to northern Germany.

Mandatory Technologies: HTTP/HTTPS with service protocols (such as AMF3, SOAP, REST), RDBMS data design, Subversion, OO design, Object Relational Mapping (ORM), Automated unit and integration testing.
Preferred Technologies: Apache, Python language, PyAMF, Pylons (specifically WSGI and Routes), SQLAlchemy, Postgresql administration and data replication concepts, Google technologies and API´s.
And/or Adobe server side technologies (such as BlazeDS, LCDS), Tomcat, Ant, Hibernate.
Favorable Skills: English language. Experience with the above technologies. Working on medium sized software projects. Agile Development methodologies.
