Our December meeting is always a fun event. We will have a pot luck meal (so bring a dish to share with others... salads, entrés or desserts), our end of the bi-annum drawing for the software! What? You don't know what software? Where have you been? One of our members will win any software Adobe makes up to the value of $1299! So far all of our members have chosen the CS3 and now CS4 Design Suite, but you may chose an individual program, if that's all you want. It is your choice. The odds of winning are best you'll find in such a high value prize. So participate and earn extra tickets...share what you've been doing for a ticket; present on a topic for a ticket; bring a friend for a ticket; there are so many ways to acquire tickets. Attend optional photo shoots or field trips. All will garner you another ticket and increase your chances of winning. We will probably be favored with a tune or two from our resident musician, Roy Douglas.
Those in attendance will judge the holiday card making contest. Winner will get a cool prize and need not be present to win.

This monthly meeting will focus on the photos taken by members at the optional photoshoot that was lead by Chip VanGilder, http://www.chipshotphoto.com. In addition the filters that are available in Photoshop and Elements will be discussed: what they do, how they work, etc.
If any who received a photo box at the June meeting want to share their photographs, please bring them. We'd love to see the results from using the box.
Paula has a project in mind for our group to help a family in need of having photos restored. She will share that project with you at our meeting.
As usual, if you have a friend to bring, do. And you'll also earn an extra point. Bring your work to share: if you've done a brochure in InDesign; a drawing in Illustrator or Fireworks, or have worked on photos, share your work. We WANT to see what you're doing.
Don't forget, if you want to bring something to eat at the meeting... please do. We want to encourage our members to relax and enjoy the social aspects of our group before the formal meeting begins. Bringing your own brown bag/ fast food allows for a more leisurely time to eat. There's no need to bolt down your meal to rush to a meeting— just eat at the meeting. We'll look forward to seeing you.
