The Flash Expert will be responsible for designing and developing rich internet applications. This is a full time position based in San Carlos, CA with the option to telecommute 2 days a week. Initial projects are in ActionScript 2; later they'll move to AS3 and Flex.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Research, design, and develop Flash RIA’s (some general, some discipline specific)
* Work closely with domain experts, product management, customer support and sales to review requirements and technical specifications
* Review test plans with QA and participate in code reviews with developers
Basic Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years development experience in Flash creating Rich Internet Applications
* Proficient developing in ActionScript 2.0
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and thrive in a start up environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
* Proficiency in ActionScript 3.0
